I'm pretty sure if you move the spring that's attached to the governor arm farther out, (looks like you're in the "next to last" hole), should give you a little more. Speaking about mufflers/tips etc. I took a production pit bike system/"muffler"apart, and it was like somebody described above, pipe going just inside, and the other end just inside, so the "muffler" is actually more like an echo chamber that makes more noise than a straight pipe. I made a piece of pipe to go all the way through, and drilled 4 rows of 5/16" holes in it, so the holes would let sound waves get out of the pipe without disrupting the flow. The pipe was actually a fair bit quieter, but the bike picked up 2 mph. Then I built an expansion chamber for it and picked up like 10 more mph,
