Retarding timing on 2 strokes?

Would 10 degrees retarded make a difference in low/mid range?

Will be running a bit of N2O so I want to make room for it, but, it's not exactly a new engine with adjustable timing... flywheel and magneto

It's a little 22.5cc scooter motor. Yeah, I know, it's slow, farty, high revving, ricerish (ahem Tyler), ghetto, gay, you name it.

haha good luck putting N2O in it. Make sure to tape it lol. But seriously i dont think it would make a difference.

2 degrees for every 50 shot... dont know how much your spraying but I would think stock timing would be fine..

I run 150 on my car, and only retard the timing 4 degrees. LOL RUN HIGH TEST GAS you will be FINE and 1 heat range colder plug

That's exactly what I told him. These engines aren't all that racey, You can throw a helluva lotta timing in these motors and yet ever to see a melted piston. Try advancing the timing 10 degrees on a snowmobile/dirtbike Be sure to count all the piston chunks in the bottom end....
