This is the retainer clip on the differential that's on my Streaker kart. It's a 3/4" external clip, but it's thicker since it holds in the axle. Anyone know where to get one of these?

The ones in the local stores have them, but they are thin. Mine are thick because they keep the axle from sliding out on turns. I fear the thin ones will break.

Well then try a specialty place like McMaster Carr and make sure you know the exact dimensions of yours (including thickness, ID and OD or whatever applies) when you do the product search. You may run into a problem where you have a metric part but think it is SAE or vice versa.

*I use a digital caliper for such things.

True, it's not the space shuttle, it's a go kart and as long as it's as non critical item like brake....
Keep us posted when/if you find a 1 to 1 replacement part and where found, QT.
A quote from a fellow racer in the late 80s..." Brakes just slow you down. They get hot even if you don't use them. Friction wastes speed."

The exact part number is 792018. Retainer Ring. Found it at Jack's Small Engine Parts.
Since it hold on the axle, I wanted to get the correct part! Thanks everyone!
