Flat top piston and a 0.10" head gasket. Nothing too serious. EDIT: Just bought a electric start kit. Which bolt holes does it bolt to on the motor?

Hows that braking system working out for you? Also the charging system, Does the wire from the charging coil plug into the keyed ignition box and charge the battery from the same wire that brings power to the starter solenoid? Or is there a separate cable for starter power and charging?

the breaking needs some miner adj yes it all plugs up you need to make ur own pos power from battery to the starter silonid and from the neg of battery to the gokart frame . i cut all the wires and brought them up to my steering wheel

tyler do you the stock size jet in the gx390 carb cause i had to drill it out to a 102 to get it to run right

So the coil charges threw the positive wire from the solenoid to the + side of the battery? Cool that's all self contained. I don't know the stock jet size from a GX300 but I would imagine over 102 because a GX200 stock jet is I think 71-72.

Your kart had bigger tires too Tyler didnt it? ( wow feels weird saying my own name lol) Mine went 42 with the stock tecumcrap motor on there. But the tires were bursting with air and they were bigger than those. IMO with those lil tires almost 40 is impressive

Then again that speed was when I was running my TAV-2-30 torque converter geared 6:1. Yeah, I run 9.50 x 18 x 8 tires. Would you be able to get me a picture of the starter working?
