Nothing WD40 and a Zippo can't fix lol. I know back in 7th science class, we had to collect bugs and we used nail polish remover, acetone. There's other ways but I don't want to be on the NSA watch list for it.

If you have a rifle, an ounce of Tannerite binary would do it too. Just make sure to be 100 yards per ounce tannerite...one unlucky guy used several pounds, was within 40 yards of it and the lawn mower he had it in, came back and blew his leg off.

Wow! but remember this Rat is trapped in my Garage!!!
So WD40 and a lighter or Tennerite is not a good idea.
Update:
Day 4 and I am just gonna starve him out!!

My sarcasm aside, it would be faster to get some rat kill pellets from Walmart and toss some in there. Would be faster than to starve it to death. Plus, consider it as a morbid last meal lol.

Not to mention rats can go awhile without food lol
Food, yes...but wiring or whatever? Must be starving. Fortunately I have a very playful cat that'll rip a mouse apart...a rat on the other hand, I'd rather use my .22 with snakeshot or CCI stingers. Not risking the cat over a diseased oversized rodent.

Hope that brick takes care of it fast.

I prefer the shotshells or Victor rat traps because then they're good snake food. Another thing I accidentally discovered is a 33 gallon plastic trash can with bird seed in the bottom makes a heck of a trap....caught six in one night!

But I've used the poison as well...and I'm not sure if it even hurts the snakes...because they have a different metabolism and those poisons basically work by blood thinning.

Update:
So I admit the Rat I have (had) trapped, was not the Actual culprit.
I locked him up the night before. Unless he ate the wires a 8 pm because I locked him up after 10.
Anyway...
He is Dead now!:wai:
I just removed the stinking carcass.
Wanna see a pic?

Thanks Bob that second video was the one I was looking for, last week when someone asked if the Rat pooped a Camry after eating my Tundra!
GAB Natioooon!!!!

I would lock every one of those furry little bass turds in my Garage Cabinet for a week.

I used the Exhaust method for Gophers. Results were 50/50
I think it worked the first time.
So I tried it again... and melted my Garden hose on the tailpipe of the truck!:surrender:
I then heard a Road flare works too. Stick it in the hole and cover the hole.:idea2:
I did that...
and Apparently that hole was very close to a PVC sprinkler pipe. That also got a hole melted in it!
I hate Gophers and Rats!!!!:furious2:
My dog "Chance" is pretty good at catching gophers, but he digs up the yard in the process as bad a s the gophers!
With Ca water restrictions we no longer have a lawn, but we do have Gophers still, so I let the Dog hunt!

Surprised the flare didn't start a grass fire. What about getting some stuff with zinc phosphide? It's destroys their digestive track and its used in small doses, so your dog shouldn't get sick if it eats it or eats a gopher that died from it. Just don't get stuff with strychnine, it could kill your dog.

If you are a coffee drinker, coffee seed grounds are a good repellent.
