and as for Mr.Wood, there will be no wood in the construction, and it will be a rear engine, front wheel steering kart.

It was a joke my friend. There have been a few posts round these parts that will make you laugh involving wood and rear wheel steering... you should read them. You'll laugh, I hope.

Who's got those links?

I think I've seen the jokes of the rear wheel steering around here, and I hope to get a little mock up of it when its done for later today

Honestly, when I saw the thumbnail pic, (which is what most people do... and skip the words...) I thought you'd switched it around and gone a different direction.

I thought you'd turned the round part into the back of the ride... then I saw the steering up on top.

What do you think?

Stand back and look at it... That would make a neat rear end giving you free reign on the front end.

:funnypost: :kewlsmiley:

Kelly, I can definitely see where you're going with that idea; but 'Sids post of the Messerschmidt has me drooling over that as well.....

Right about now, I'd be inclined to invoke the KISS rule for the builder; if this is his first build, the best way to help with success is to keep things simple.....

:cheers2:   Pat

I like the idea of having the back be the front, but I already have an idea of what I want the thing to look like, and that just isn't it... maybe another time...

the idea I have is to slant the rear end and make it kinda like a Shelby Cobra Daytona, then for the front all I have to do is fab some fenders, and it'll be an Armageddon Daytona, with a curvy nose :stir:

or ill make a thirties racer type thing.

and some pics to show the ideas:
