Is any body doing any racing on dirt. This Is heat race number #1 from my last outing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEIB4EIxsaE:2guns::2guns::2guns:
I believe Don White and Gibby and his crew have traveled for the Classic.Cool, the class I was racing in my videos allows any 4-cycles, but doesn't alow any motorcycle engines.
We have a larger 5th mile clay oval here in town: http://www.azkarting.com/ that used to have a very active UAS Unlimited All-Stars/Open Class. But now a days the only time they get enough guys turning out to run that class is for the big Holiday classic race.
My oval kart has a blueprinted 357cc. Tecumseh Star engine running on methanol. When I got into racing karts a few years ago, that AKA track wouldnt let me race in any other classes because my engine was too large. So I got kinda pissed off at them and started racing at our towns other oval track in my videos.
Most of the guys that I raced against at that short track used to drive Sprint Cars, Late Models, Street Stocks Or Dwarf Cars at Manzanita Speedway here in Phoenix. After Manzanita closed down, Terry Belcher built that track (in my videoes) at his house/large property way out in the desert west of Phoenix. He actually hired dump trucks to haul clay from the Manzanita track out to his place to build his track.
I used to race Street Stocks at Manzanita, Firebird and Canyon Raceways here in the Phoenix area, and know quite a few guys that traveled over to cali to race the west-coast oval tracks & drag strips from time to time.
