Wish me luck guys. Got the insurance adjuster tomorrow at noon.
Had a wrath of god hail storm Friday.
Busted windows, siding damage, roof damage to the house. Busted security cameras, lights, and a satellite dish.
All vehicles outside have busted marker lights and dimples. The Tundra got the windshield too. The tail lights for that are close to $600 😲. The RV took a massive hit. All the roof vents and covers are busted. The 3 awnings are trashed.
We had at least 60mph winds and golfball sized hail. There was a tornado warning associated with that storm.
I had flood waters but the house is raised so non-issue there but a few miles from me they had to do some swift water rescue and houses are mudded in about 3 feet deep. I went to be nosey and couldn't get past some of the arroyos that were running deep. Trapped in my hood.
Normally we get nothing. This El Niño is causing havoc. 2 weeks ago just a few miles south during a large storm a dirt dam was breaching the top and 3 towns got evacuated.

We went from severe drought and empty lakes to more water than we've got in many years combined.
Any updates WTR? Hope insurance will hold up their end!

Cause you can fix a broke chain on the side of the road. You can open the loop and thread the end around the frame and sprockets.

Belts are a pain in the sphincter to change.
On a bike the rear tire has to be removed along with what ever is covering the primary. A kart would probably need the axle dropped cause its inside the frame most of the time.

And third, chain is cheaper.

I haven't got the estimate back from the guy.
I asked the magic question, so how much?
I know you cant say till it's all filed and compiled but what ball park are we playing in.
I got him to guesstimate a little less than 10k for the house.

The vehicles on the other hand...
The wj took less damage than the deductible.
My truck and rv somehow didnt have hail coverage 😒

All my indoor clocks I had to reset myself except my alarm clock in the bedroom. None of my appliances are "smart". I remembered when I woke up today. Looked at my phone when I got up and it said 8am, all my others said 9. lol.

Learjet crash in Florida yesterday. Dashcam video (rear window cam) almost looks fake. Icy conditions, 32,000 ft per minute rate of descent. R.I.P. 😰

Looks like the rear stabilizer is missing in this freeze frame.

Atc advised them to go around the storm.

There is no reason to go through one.

Even with the NFZ around mar a lago it was open at 30k, so that's not a factor.

Apparently they were already dealing with icing and trying to remedy that.

Theres either a rubber membrane on the leading edge that can get pumped with air to break the ice off or an alcohol spray system that runs the leading edge.

Perhaps heavy icing locked the control surfaces. Once in a steep dive the vertical stabilizer probably ripped itself off the tail from over speed.

20yo female was the co-pilot.

Pilot in command name has not been released yet. I might assume another young pilot.

Theres usually no "black box" and if there was, im not sure it would survive that.

Maybe some passports survived.

The guy in the Cadillac right under the nose cone survived, or the car did, dunno about his wits. Car is seen later stopped in the road intact.
