Are Belleville(sp?) washers easily obtanium in the sizes needed? They are already dished.

Belleville washers dont have enough "cone" as far as I know.

Taryl tackles some comparable CC OHV engines for parts compatibility and looking for the dreaded plastic junk inside. Predator 212 hemi, Predator 212 non-hemi, Honda GX200, Briggs CR950. Have other tubers covered the same thing? Probably, but this came up in the feed. He also mentions the quality “Honda air filter” that the Derp hemi uses over that cheap piece of foam in the non-hemi. Came from Honda.

He unboxes the Derp 224cc Max at 37:30 and takes off the sump cover. Most of us already know what’s inside but it’s way better than the Briggs junk shown...

The NR Racing rod i got for my 301 had real bearings. It even had an oiling hole on the top side.
Ive seen some of the new designs with a forced oil port in the dipper.

A little more progress.
Had to sand down a wood dowel a little to fit down the bore.



The nut has a slight interference fit.



Now i have a center line reference.
