Hi first post here!

I'm looking for decent off road 2 seater for my daughters 9 and 12 and I would like to ride it too :) My budget is 2k max.

My question is the Trail Master brand gets the most attention for being a decent quality brand for the money but I see more "bang for the buck" with the DF Moto stuff. What's the quality difference? Am I better with one over the other and why?

I'm between the Trail Master Blazer 200R or the DF Moto 200cc GKB Bolt CVT w/reverse. I'm mechanically inclined so I can work on this stuff but I want decent quality too.

Thanks for any help.

The Trailmaster or American Sportworks mini buggies are probably your best bet.
Even better is to peruse the local Craigslist. In my area there's two fully restored and operational 2 seater go karts(not mini buggies, but true karts without suspension) for about $500.
I would try to find something on CL instead of the oh so common mini buggies. Whatever you do, STAY AWAY from all of the Kandis and Tao Taos! Or anything else that sounds Chinese.
CL doesn't just have derelict karts, they have nice ones too.
:welcome2:

If I were to get an American Sportworks, I would get the Black Widow and slap a bigger engine on it, since the Black Widow has less luxury stuff, which means less things liable to break.
Yeah the Chinese mini buggies are way too good to be true. The stupidest things break on them. I'm talking the freaking WHEELS break! They're that bad! And parts are nearly impossible to find, and they're just as liable to break/wear out incredibly fast, plus the parts are usually odd sizes, meaning they're almost impossible to change for aftermarket stuff without fabrication.

Look at Hammerhead products too, Polaris bought them out. The biggest issue with some of the Brand X karts is parts and support availability. I'd consider anything DF Moto last. It seems to me at least American Landmaster is focusing more on UTV's instead of fun karts. Look at Trailmaster or Hammerhead. Look on Letgo and Offer Up as sources for used karts, I've seen great deals on both.

Awesome thanks! I found a place that sells these in my neck of the woods. I might check them out on black Friday for some deals!

you all forget that american Sportworks is now American Landmaster
and that even before then most of them were made in CHINA!
even some of the more beloved Mancos (Carbide series)
Also made in china

Heck.. every other thing you think made in the US of A is made in China,

Made in China is not always bad
(your fricking thousand dollar phone is made in china dang it!)
