I have a gx270 QAE (electric start) and I'm trying to find a wiring diagram of some sort to remove the ignition switch and replace it with a push button remote start. I found a kawasaki wave runner start/stop mount I want to use. The wiring coming off of it is simple enough.

The start button is just a momentary switch and the kill switch is always open with an emergency tether. Nothing complicated. What I need to know is where do they need to connect?

Thanks in advance.

One goes to the starter solenoid
The other goes to the battery
Switch goes in the middle

That's how to jump start it. I don't know if that's the correct way to do it though.

I had same principle for start and kill switch.
So plus from battery to push button, from it to plus on starter. Minus starter to battery minus.

Kill switch, I cut plus from batery to cdi and put switch there.

I had a 1970 Chevy that for some reason lost the "continuous" power part of the ignition switch.....so I ran an alternative wire to the coil....and hooked it to a toggle switch under the dash.....now.....my vehicle was nearly theft proof...and .....seemed to break down a lot on dates.....:cheers2::cornut:
