Im sure you know this.

The spacing between the bolts (red) should be the same for both sides and at the same angle, parallel.
Same for your control arms. And CV shaft. (Blue).
Your CV knuckles should be aligned with the red line.

Flip your hub contraption so the axle line is dropped if you can. Lower the tire for greater ground clearance.

Nice work though. Suspension geometry can be tricky.

Figgered that out, with that first setup.
nothing has been adjusted yet. There an inch or so adjustment on top and bottom control arms.

This is not a hard and fast rule. Is it desirable? Usually. Is it essential? No.

Ya know, that thing is Purdy FUGLY! Indestructible, but FUGLY. Fortunately it will be kinda tucked away inside the wheel, under some of the other suspension thingys. should work just fine. Here @ MTL we take DIY seriously!

In other exciting news, work continues here @ MTL. This weekend past saw 3 major milestones...

The radiator catch bottle. After days of searching for the correct bottle, I have up and sourced one locally.
The bottle had to meet certain design factors, be unbreakable, visually appealing, and make a statement.
There is only one real choice. This is a temporary bottle as the desired one is currently unavailable. The temporary was chosen 'cuz it has the same shape and dimensions as the chosen one. Update to follow when necessary.


Daughter #1 insisted on painting in the smiley Yamaha man. So the was given free license.



Started trying to figure out the shift lever/cable/transmission thingy...

Yeah its canadian also.
A couple of libations l can't handle the taste of are IPAs and 'merican bourbon.
Makers Mark is a good one, however.

I reluctantly used that bottle, knowing the grief that would follow. That is actually Purdy good, for slummin round.
My go to is XO and the TEMPORARY bottle will be replaced!

I am a whiskey snob. Crown Royal Black is actually pretty good. XO is ok. Crown is kinda bourbon, but it's not because it isn't made in 'Merica.

Ha! Yep. Same reason Jack Daniels isn't "bourbon". My standards in my older age is whiskey is bland unless it is at least 90 proof or higher. There is nothing really serious about me, sometimes to my fault. Cheers brother!!!!

Not a straight up type.
But a rum and coke I won't pass up or a gin and squirt over ice is quite refreshing.
I miss my Tennessee family that made real moonshine. Had 2 kinds, Clear and brown. Now a glass of that over ice was the bomb.
