Hey Guys,
Thanks for the kind words. Having a blast working on it. However, it gets pretty cold here and my garage is not heated. May have to get a space heater soon to "keep the party going" this winter.
Porsche, my plan was to build some cool retro-looking aluminum L brackets, all polished with lightening holes. Should look pretty old school. I was bummed to find out the flywheel shroud on the Duraforce is made out of plastic. L-B has a commercial version of the motor that I think has a metal shroud. If I can score a couple, I may chrome 'em.
Ken, the Super K is a three-wheeled personal transporter Rupp built in the 60's, wasn't it? I have the wide hoop from my scrap frame still intact. If I don't use it, you can have it. Just pay for shipping. Or check out RobRon, he makes reproductions of these frames off the original Rupp tooling. He may sell you just the hoop (or a later model Rupp narrow hoop) if you need one quicker. PS...nice wheels.
