Mr Bob you sound Lil sensitive since denny called you out stringing this along 3 pages after I said it runs great first 5 min. An now maybe you realize you have wasted alot of effort explaining this to me( although it's great stuff to know on my end) as I said before just after market aluminum fly wheel of Amazon for like 30 bucks say (HIAORS 10k) but no these trail masters do not come equipped with oil sensors I assume since they are ment to be off road it would be an issue to have one. A the stock ignition coil that came on both. I mean I ain't saying it's impossible but probably equivalent of being hit by lighting twice probability hear.
You still don’t know how an engine works. Bad Timing and a bad coil are two different things. Symptoms of a bad ignition coil... Works when cold… then when hot… doesn’t work. Cools off… works again.
Sounds like a story I heard.

good luck!

Bobs a good guy and very smart. I would never call him out. Joke and kid with him yes. He is one of the good guys on here. I just think when we pigeon hole ourselves into thinking only one thing we miss seeing the other possibilities causing our problems.

Cannot belive my cam is plastic.. but the bearing stayed on the shaft when taking the side plate off. Shouldn't be a problem right?? But I see some people take the cam out is that necessary or can I just punch the gov out now?

Ended up just being easy with a flat head an pushed it in but I'm inserting my rods back an noticed on side has a cap on back of spring an other doesn't. I double checked my other cart an it's the same way. I take it this is normal?

In post # 108 you sort of ask a rhetorical question. Yes, you are on the right path. Line up the marks on the cam and crank gears. Sometimes you have to hold the lifters in place while inserting the cam. There is no reason that the outer seal should pop out on reassembly. If you're back in there again sometime the bearing should pull of of the crank quite easily. It may slip right back into the side cover, or you might have to " gently " tap it back in. Machine tolerances on these Chinese jewels is not always what it should be. Hope you remembered the side cover gasket. Torque the bolts to 17 ft. lbs. Or 204 inch lbs. Depending upon your torque wrench.

Got to be a air leak I tried to choke the thing out an it wouldn't but all my seals look good.. so I noticed some fresh fuel on the black plastic piece in the first picture. But it actually has a channel that goes from that top hole around so maybe that should be like that? But in picture two is the way it's set up with the paper gasket but the hole that's cut out doesn't actually open over the hole in the carb. Should I use the black one in picture 3? I got one from my other car if so but thatblack rubber seals what actually goes to the outside the carb where it meet the adapter for air filter
