Lights get sold in December, Returned in Jan, get discounted 75 %, then sold again. Then returned because they got used or broken stuff.Right about now the Home Depot returns desk is busy processing all the Christmas decorations that "don't fit".
I assume buying pallets of homedepot returns is probably a decent purchase. So many Milwaukee tools come back. I’ve learned Return to Vendor usually means they go to a redistribution center to be sold / auctioned as is.
My favorite was a customer trying to return a 2’ x 2’ drywall panel with a 6” patch cut out of it. Mam, how can I resell this as a 2’ x 2’ sheet? “But we barely used any of it.”
