I am guessing what you posted is your communication with the vendor. You said somewhere that you have 1 to 1 shaft rockers. Are they champion brand, or the Chinese imitation knock off. The reason I ask is because I run champions on 3 of my engines. They are great. They do not fit under a stock rocker cover. Offering you a 2nd gasket to supposedly gain clearance doesn't sound like enough. You can cut out the baffle in the stock cover. You can purchase a spacer to lift up the cover, or you can purchase an billet aluminum cover that is tall enough.
As I said in post #36, you should be buying your parts from legitimate kart supply shops.
I thought I did, earlier in this post Rat posted a link for the dover coil I bought from this seller, and I saw he's also selling all the other stuff I need so I ordered it all from him....I already drilled one valve body to 5.4mm and I will order a 5.5 ream. I'm not doing the drilling and reaming free hand, I'm a mechanical engineer and we have a milling machine at work....
about the rocker, If it won't fit.....:mad::mad::mad:

Doing the valve guides on a mill with an experienced machinest you will be fine. Was worried you'd try it with a hand drill. Inside the stock valve cover is a baffle.
A plate, that sits about 1/2" below the top. Cut it out and it will fit over the rockers with no problem. What was posted in # 40 is very good advice. Smooth out the edges and corners on the intake and exhaust ports. Easy horse power gain.

Engine was already ported, if you scroll down the post you can see everything that was done to the engine 🙃
Basically knocked out all the sharp edges, ported the intake and exhaust side, and even did some polishing to the exhaust side....governor removed, aluminium flywheel, bought a dover coil... besides changing to a hot cam ( which I don't want to do right now), changing the springs & valves seems to be the best option for getting some extra rpm...
I'm hoping that just making some clearance in the baffle will do the trick.... but I'm more concerned about the valve keepers, seller says the stock ones will fit, I really hope so 🤞
