power wheels with snow blower motor?

hey guys I just picked up a free jeep powerwheels, I found a 12hp snowblower on marketplace for like 100 bucks I think Ill pick up, if I add some 10 inch tires how fast do yall think Ill go? Im new to anything go kart or motor related. Any advice appreciated.

What exactly are you asking about, speed of the snowblower or the powerwheels? 🤔 😁

If it's a plastic toy like pictured in the post above, a 12 hp engine will tear it to pieces in minutes. They hardly hold up with a 1/3 hp electric motor.

Get a dedicated go kart frame and modify it to suit. Dunno if the snowblower is worth it, but whatever is wrong refurbish it and sell it for megabucks. I don't personally believe in cannibalizing otherwise good stuff just for the motor.

Welcome to DIY.... Don't pay attention to those other guys, I'll tell you how to get this project going the right way.
I've built a few of these things myself, .....and I'm good at it.

You need to buy as many parts as you can afford for the project. Make sure you buy that 12hp motor or something close to 12hp.
If you can't find 10" tires.... 8" or 7" will work.
Completely disassemble the powerwheels apart and put the jeep body to the side somewhere safe. Throw all the other stuff left over
out. You can't use any off it.

Now we're ready to start your project. Get back with us so I can instruct you on your next step.

The three 12hp’s I have owned were all 1 1/4 output... So unless it’s a 12hp kohler specifically before he pulls the body of the powerwheels he’s gonna need to get the crank out and have it milled down to 1”

If he is going to go through all that work, take the crank down to 3/4" and rekey with a 3/16 keyway. All clutches and t/c are a lot cheaper in the 3/4" than 1". To put a 12hp engine on that frame is more excise in futility than most people need. There are much better engine sizes to go with than a 12 hp unless he is going to use it to pull a horse trailer with 2 horses in it.

That is NOT a powerwheels toy. That is a plastic jeep body mounted on a special built metal go kart. Sorta like watching NHRA pro-stock racing.
Erica Enders and Greg Anderson both race Chevy Camero's. Think you're going to go down to your local Chevy dealer and buy one. That's about how much in common that jeep in the video has with a powerwheels toy.

No, bold text is not a form of shouting as far as I am concerned. I am not very tech savvy, and don't know how to make this thing print out any differently then it does. Wasn't challenging your video thinking that you were trying to convince us that that was a powerwheels. I'm sure you knew as well as everyone else that it is a custom built ( and pretty powerful ) kart. Nice wheelstands. Besides, I don't drink.
