Why is it when the OP hears something he doesn't like he never returns. I've noticed that trend.

It couldn't be us could it?
People see all these creations on the internet and think because the edited video that showed a project from start to finish built in 15 minutes was easy so they can do it to. Then join here and learn that 15 minute video could of been weeks/months worth of work. Keep in mind this is all before they learn how much parts cost. It’s a daydream to buy gokart fix it easy and make it reliable for nothing. It’s not us runnin’em off trust me we are actually probably saving people a bit of cash when we tell them how there project won’t work but they can have a much better project by finding an old yardkart to fix.

You may have hit on something here!
Maybe we should start charging consultation fees? The amount would vary depending on the complexity/stupidity involved.
Split the money equally?
Almost! I thought about a ”you pay shipping only junkyard section” as in I have six streaker front hubs and the guy needs two. So because it’s the junkyard lot there is no price. it‘s only I have to go to the post office and grab a flat rate box that ships for 17$ regardless. so that means most items split rims hubs junker stuff like that would usally only cost you about $17 the problem is we would flat out run out of supply within days and of course wanting most of the parts to go to newcomers to help and well.. it just wouldn’t work.

I swear swear swear I was watching a car show when velocity was in it’s prime on TV... The car they were restoring was on day 604 of being restored.... It’s a 30 minute show... Edit: Ya know what no it wasn’t a 30 minute show actually more like a 22 minute total tv show when you count all the commercials.. Edit Edit: new comers see 604 days of work done by 18 guys in 22 minutes and think anything’s possible and very very easy to do in the garage with some hand tools. Spoiler alert it’s not.
