Well, actually I just got a "new" to me ride. I scored a sweet 1999 Chevy Cavalier with about 207,320 miles on it! 
It used to be my GF's old car, but it started having a lot of problems and the last straw was that it wouldn't kick into reverse or forward. She bought a new car on Tuesday and we went to go pick up this car yesterday afternoon. She really needs to have a reliable car as she's going to school and has to drive about an hour to get where she has to be for classes sometimes.
She let me have the car and at the moment, I'm just gonna either try to fix the transmission or replace it just to have a second car that I can use if I need to do work to my other one. It was leaking transmission fluid like crazy so we added some fluid to it and it's working for the time being. I was actually driving it around today as I helped my friend go buy parts and replace a bad rear oil seal on his cars transmission.
The first modification I did to the 'lier was remove the Betty Boop decal that she had on the rear window!
