I'm surprised that the kart moves that quick with all that weight.

I'm surprised that the kart moves that quick with all that weight.

I'm going to drive it like this for a while. I've got two cheap Chinese belts that came with the TC (they might burn up fast). When I can afford the flywheel and connecting rod, I'm going to switch to 7.5 : 1 gearing, install Black Mamba Jr Cam Shaft and 26lb springs (which are on their way). Bout to order new some gaskets.

I have not clocked it but I know that it goes over mid fifties for sure, I will clock it with my GPS this summer and post the speed, I love to drive that thing!

These are AWESOME!

She is a great sport! she likes to go fast too! One of a kind for sure! That is why I built her a kart, thanks for the compliment, I too would like to see more videos of members karts in action.

Yes indeed they want a lot for these engines now days, I paid 200.00 USD for the one that is on my Wife's Kart and it was like brand new when I bought it, I tore it down completely after I bought it and I measured all of the components and they were all within new specs,not a bad price for a engine that puts out 23hp in it's stock form, I have done a little internal work to this one and in the videos that the kart is on asphalt I am using a 32mm Mikuni on the engine.
