I think at 16' long and 250 lbs and around 70hp of billet alky power its concidered a real dragster. Its not a toy/mini one. The dragster you have picture is a Top Fuel dragster which is much less common then the average dragster me or you would normally see at the track. I'm in the dragster I have now because of age restrictions. I do have the fastest and newest car available and breaking the NHRA speed limits by quite a bit so I'm going pretty quick in the 1/8. My dragster will beat 3/4 of the daily driven ricers and non ricers around this forum. Remember just because you have a CAI and some nitrous stickers doesnt mean much. Dont underestimate teens around here!

Whoa there. Don't need to get all defensive about it. My intention was not to insult your hobby.

I'm well aware of your car's dimensions, speed, fuel type, etc. I'm also aware of your age restrictions. Believe it or not, I *also* know what a Top Fuel Dragster is, and how uncommon they are at your local track. There is no need to talk down to me as if I'm somehow below you, or have less knowledge of motor sports.

None of this however, is relevant to the fact that it is *not* the kind of dragster I am interested in. If you like it, that's just grand. I personally don't think it is very impressive. (No offense intended)

Now why would you go around saying that you have the fastest and newest dragster? That's just outright bragging. Again, that's fine, as long as you like it, but I wouldn't go around acting as if you're proud of something that at 16, is highly unlikely that you bought with your own money. If you did, that certainly IS something to be proud of, and I am impressed that you took the initiative to get a job, work for months, saving it all, and purchase something you are really interested in.

I'm not really sure why you decided to go off talking about ricers, CAIs, stickers, etc... I hate ricers just as much as you do. Mutual dislike aside, this really has nothing to do with what we were talking about.

In summary, 7 seconds in the 1/8 is not impressive in my book. 7 seconds in the 1/4 IS impressive to me. Please don't take my opinion about the subject as an insult. Like I said, as long as you are happy with it, that's all that matters.

Now, back on topic here! :bannana: No need to start an argument over differences of opinion.

I wasnt sure if me and you where on the same page. Alot of people I know personally and over the internet know I have a go kart. They do not all know I have a dragster. So when I say I'm going racing with my dragster they think my go kart is my dragster. I am not offended by what you think and its good that you have your own opinion.

I just opened this discussion up on my browser (Mozilla Firefox) and as far as I can tell by scrolling up and down with the mouse thumb-wheel, Tyler and 1011001 are indeed, both on the same page.

Heres a pic when we just got it home, its the alternative to a mini van. Has more leg room in the back seat than the front. Has a towing capacity of 16,500, and gets about 21 mpg. The best part, its my daily driver.

OK, I had to get a new vehicle to haul my toys around and it had to be a 4 X 4 . I found this 99 Expedition ' LOADED' for $5000. I tallked the guy down to $4500!. I could haul a big kart inside, if I choose. Anyway, GOOD BYE Miata :D. Hello Off-Road! I want to dress it up with fender flares, etc. soon. Thanks. Scott

That's right... took the Echo Sportivo racing. LOL. There were 2 Renault Megane Sport's (3.0L Turbo), 2 old Porsche 911's,
an old 6 cylinder Commodore, and a crazy $150,000 Impreza WRX which was doing amazing lap times.
Fun day, and I only went off the track 3 times!
