Possibly vintage rupp mini bike

*backstory* my grandpa asked me to find him a mini bike, so i traded a manco thunder bird for a mini chopper and a mystery bike. which my grandpa concluded was a rupp roadster and search results say other wise. and of course when he was young he had one. Any one recognise what this is?

Do a search on Bird Engineering Nighthawk or Thunderbird, I have a thread on this forum for each of them. They look similar to your pic.

Hmm, if that's true, then it's possible he traded a Thunderbird for a Thunderbird.
And he'll have fun, fun, fun till his daddy takes his t-bird away.
