Negative vibes? Are you licking wall sockets again? You know they make little plastic plugs to stop you from doing that.

I got the Polaris racer out, the other day, to do some comparisons, with the Sequoia racer like:
... overall weight
...rolling resistance (especially brake)
...& freewheel vs. direct drive ;)

So, while I had 'er out, I did/made some body panels

I made 'em out of cardboard first (even piecing pieces together with tape)

Then, transferred the shape to some white corrugated plastic

After marking (on the inside)
...where the bends needed to be
...I scored along the lines
...& then, added some bends

Kind of hard to see in white, but I like it. How is that fastened on there?
Hey Ez,

I'm glad you asked

I tried to design this "nose" cover to wrap around the chassis bars
...& then, be "pinned" back to itself

For the initial "test fit" I just used a couple of drywall screws
SAM_3437 (1).JPG
...but, I wanted/needed to NOT have any pointy things intruding into the interior of the racer
...& another goal was to NOT use a bunch of zip-ties
...so, I'm trying/using these "push fasteners" ;)
SAM_3487 (1).JPG
* Notice, how the ones on the right (oddly enough) have zip-ties built-in-to their tops
...which are usually used for mounting wiring harnesses
...but, their "base" is still the same

The lower section, of the "nose" cover has (2) "tabs" (1 on each side) that "tuck" up under
...so, we only needed (2) of "pins" (1 for each of tab)
SAM_3490 (1).JPG
They are super easy to install (just make a hole & then, push 'em thru)
SAM_3488 (1).JPG
They hold everything together good-n-firm
...& also, leave a nice-n-clean & aerodynamic surface :cheers2:

Behind the Nacelles, the "nose" cover wraps around
...& then, the top just overlaps the bottom & are then "pinned" together
