The spindle bent, engine wont run now, wrong gear ratio, clutch shoots sparks, steering is getting sticky, chain wont stay on for more than 10 seconds; even if it's over tightened.

I just don't even know whats wrong anymore.

Any ideas? :surrender:

Remember when I told you your steering system looked kind rigged up? That was your clue to Re-Do just for safety. Solve your probelems. Make a new spindle. Check if your engine has fuel air and spark. Get a larger sprocket. New clutch. Re-Do steering. your chain is either the wrong pitch or not lighned up.

I know, im just so frusturated!!! I am redoing the plate on the column with an oval, instead of the T thing on there now, should let me turn until the wheels hit the frame. And then threaded rod for tie-rods, and bearings from northern instead of eyebolts. Then a bumper so it doesn't bend my tie-rods next time I hit a speed limit sign....

IDK what's wrong with my spindle! I made the other one ExAcTlY the same way, and it's fine, I'll try making a new bracket though.

The engine like killed itself, it worked then all the sudden started dying when I gave it gas, then would only idle, now it wont idle, just pop a few times. It might be the exaust valve, I think this same thing happened once before.

The sprocket thing is a no brainer, do you thing they would have them at checker?

The clutch is kinda borderline broken, it's like working again, IDK, so it may be salvagable. There is no visible damage, everything still looks brand new?

And the chain is #35 on a #35 clutch and a #35 sprocket, and is lined up dead on, believe me I looked at that ALOT! It's like CrAzY tight, and then when I give it gas, the top tightens more, and the bottom goes totally slack, and vibrates in like a wave pattern.

should let me turn until the wheels hit the frame.

Which will cause you to flip. I remember seeing a company getting sued because of that.

Exhaust valve? Did you ever check the lash?

What was your gear ratio? 1:3? 1:4? Anything like that will burn er' up fast.

If it gets slack, then it's still loose.

post a new picture of the axle setup so we can see if you got something wrong with it causeing you to pop of your chain.

With the steering, I just meant it will LET me hit the frame, I'll put stops on it to keep that from happening, but it should improve my turning radius by about 3 feet. The what on the exaust valve? I don't want to reduce, but it's 12 teeth on the clutch, to 40 teeth on the axle. I am getting a 60-70 tooth gear on the axle. But like I have it tight to the point where it is pulling down my engine, but it still goes slack?
I'll go take a picture in a few.

Well we can't really help you without the pictures...

If it is the exhaust valve, and it's burned, then grind down the lifter a bit.

im confused how your chain doesnt stay on...

if its tight...and your engine is attached to the frame... then there should be no problem...

You probably flooded it the last time you tried to start it.

Sounds like bent rear axle or bad axle bearings on the chain problem.

Agreed. I have that problem on my kart (I didn't do it). The sprocket wobbles like crazy, and frankly I'm afraid to take it apart to see what it really is. It through the chain all the time when I bought it, mostly just when coasting. Seems ok now so I'm gonna wait 'till I redo the kart to fix it.

put it on jack stand hit the gas pedal and look at the rear wheels see if they are wobbling if so than i bet your sprocket is bent.

I have done this already, and they are dead on centered, everything is perfect, but the chain keeps coming off, I dont understand! The only thing that I've never seen a chain do (that this does) is when you give it power, the whole bottom drops and goes slack. I'll get those pics up later, I slept in and have some cleaning to do, but I think a tensioner would solve my problem.
