please details on how to put the back tire up

hi so i started building a mini chopper in my metals class pretty cool but i really need some help since im a beginer at this **** well im a the step where im ganna weld the back part on that connects to the set and the bottom of the bike the part that kind of looks like a U well wut i want to kno is i dont under stand how to set up the axel and the tire like do i just make an axel and then how do i put the tire on so that it isnt sliding around and what do i attach the sprocket on im really confused about this idk if i explained it well but if u need details to help me out please ask

ok let me reword everything i need to kno how to set up the rear tire? as in wut else do i need besides a tire and an axel? wut do i need to attach the sprocket to? wut im trying to ask is if i were to buy a kit of this wut would the parts be to set up the back tire because i can build and machine all of this in school. which is why i want make it not buy it more fun to. heres a picture by the way

and as a side note how will length of chain effect anything?

well generally speaking a long chain wont affect much but use common sence its a mechanical part of a machine it takes horsepower to move every single link on that chain. And if your chain is too long you will need a chain tensioner but lets not go there yet.

I saw a tire, brake, sprocket. assembly for sale on the internet somwhere you could look for and purchase in my opinion it makes everything alot easier. Because its all assebled for you and the wheel includes bearings so you dont need to run bearings on your bike frame so that imiminates the need for a rotating axle.

The picture you referenced is a live axle. You'll need an axle (with a keyway) that is the same size as your bearings and your hub. This is typically 1". You'll need to match the sprocket and brake rotor to that size axle. Use locking collars to keep everything where it needs to be.
