Picked this up for $50 yesterday

I will probably paint it chrome to match the wheels, tie rods, throttle and brake control arms. Im not working on it today though, too much yard work that needed to be done and I am tired now.. been working on the yard since 9 this morning.

Sorry, When I see something for that price I jump on it. I picked up another one tonight. It was also 50 bucks and they wanted $50 for the edger but I got both for $80. The edger starts and runs great, the go kart does not run though.

I havent messed with them yet. But they are two piece wheels so I am still confused on what trouble you think I am going to have.

Just have patience when you start on them. Carter made a great kart, but horrible rims. You may have to cut the tire with a carpet knife and grind out the bead.

Your right, I just went out and tried one quick to see what the deal is. Its a two piece rim but the tire doesnt want to break free. I will probably never use them anyway. The cart only had 3wheels on it and one of the 3 is bent. But if I do use the pair that is still good your right, Im probably going to have to cut the tire off.
