I have just been painting a Cat D9L cab. I would just go to a paint shop, find the colour you want in enamel then ask for a hardener to suit. That stuff dry rock solid! Well almost. The only downside is you really need a painting booth and/or painting mask.

Maybe start looking into 'two pot' paints.

I am still on the search for a purple 2 part epoxy. I have found almost every other colour but purple!

Any actual autobody supply shop will be able to mix you your color in any hue on the face of the earth.

But if $20 is alot to you your in for a surprise. I paid $80 for just a quart of epoxy primer for my kart

Wow! That is a lot. I will go and find a local car shop and see what they have.
Could I get an epoxy primer and then rattle can over the top?

PERFECT! I think.
Does it look ok? I was going to get a pint which would cost approx. $25-30 and get it shipped to my brother who is currently in the US.

@Toystory

what kind of epoxy are you useing? ploy?
and if you go to your local marine store they sell paint that will stick to it. lots of sanding is requried.

TS is right though Epoxy is the way to go but be prepared to spend a lot of time with some sand paper.:thumbsup:
