over .290 lift requires 26lb springs?

or so i read. i believe i read it on agk. but that same site said that the rocker studs were not interchangeable between clone and honda. i just did that, so i know that is wrong. can a head be welded back up after a valve stem punches a hole through the chamber? for pics see 'new carbs' in this category

I wouldnt besides some people think those high pressure springs cause MORE problems then that xtra lift is worth

wear the lobes on the cam.. valves stems getting mushroomed.. pushrods fail??

i've read many of your (you all) posts and it is normally said that the 26lb will cause that damage. i have yet to read 18lb doing the same. ps, i am running the stock cam

18 pound valve springs will be fine for a stock cam.
