I came accross some info like 3 years ago that he was killed by some Canadian military. From what I understood their radios weren't working very good. They had noticed some activity over in some town, so they radioed it in to HQ. while waiting for the orders on what to do they sent out a small groupe of soldiers to get a little more intel. Well HQ came back and told the communications operater to stay away from that area.
By that time it was to late the group of solders ended up getting fired at ... they shot back and ended up LAW'ing the building.
The powers that be had to find a replacment because back then ( when gas was sooo high ) people would demand the war over.

No offense to anybody on here, but I just saw the news and the celebrations of the Americans on there was absolutely disgusting. I was actually gob-smacked.

Things will change...for better or worse, we don't know. Terrorists in Guantanamo Bay claim that they have ICBM's with nuclear warheads. I know we're probably in Defcon 1 or 2 by now, but the threat still lingers. And it WILL NOT be the same, their sole leader, the head of it all, now has no head.

Things are going to get worse before they get better. The unfortunate truth when it comes to people who live to kill we "infidels".

i agree with that, our constitution is a gift few appreciate, however, in my opinion there are just a few to many lawyers, after all, too many cooks spoil the soup.

i guess its good bin laden is out of the picture, but its never good for someone to die-says a person who loves bloody, violent movies.:D:D

Our constitution is a gift TOO many appreciate, and exploit to the fullest extent, if not more than that.

There's a lot of theories floating around, like he's been dead for years to he's alive and being "debriefed". Who knows.

As far as the celebrations go, I would humbly suggest a stark difference between thousands (millions) of innocents celebrating the demise of a genocidal maniac, and thousands of genocidal maniacs celebrating the deaths of thousands of innocents. It's pretty clear to me. Comparing the two actions is simply unrealistic.

Furthermore, killing Osama Been Hidin' was an act of war upon a soldier. 9/11 was an unprovoked, non-wartime attack upon civilians, period. Slice it how you may.

No, killing that utter waste of human life solves nothing. But for all the tree-huggers out there that think is shameful that he was killed, take a moment to be grateful the US had the restraint to avoid the alternative- blowing big nuclear holes in the middle east. Because sitting there, taking s**t from terrorists is not an option. And the only way that I want to stand and face Mecca is with a full bladder...

You'll forgive me for being incredibly grateful to all the "allied" soldiers present and past for making the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the freedoms that I hold so dear.

The only thing that was unfortunate about his death was that it didn't occur sooner.

One other point- things will NOT change because "they" are willing to hit harder than "we" are. Imagine a fight in a boxing ring- in one corner, a boxer following all the rules of boxing. In the other corner, a freak jacked up on PCP and carrying a knife and a gun. No contest. "We" play by rules, "we" have to make nice for the rest of the world, always mindful of potential socio-political consequences. "They" do exactly what they want to do, regardless. They do not worry who gets hurt, they do not worry what the world thinks of their actions.

Until "we" reach the point of total abandon in fighting "them", things will never get any better. The playing field is not, nor ever will be, level.

.

it was abit strange haha.

im sceptical about the whole thing. Why not take him alive? and even then why not take photos/ perform an autopsy/ dna samples etc before throwing him off the side of a boat lol. I mean cumon. Nobodys guna belive you now Obama!

we guna have 50 years of conspiracy bull**** because there is no proof that he is actualy dead. Same mistake the russians made with hitler. Shoulda put the c**t on trial

edit:
US officials say they used facial recognition software and even DNA testing to confirm with 99.9 per cent confidence that Osama bin Laden had in fact been killed

People aint guna buy that! well some will(fox news audience). I myself don't realy care haha.

Umm, what? There are suggestions that over 20,000 innocent Iraqi people have died since the invasion. How is this any different? You think killing Osama is going to stop anything? Im sorry to say, there are 100s of people willing and ready to take his place. All it was, was revenge, plan and simple.

It took 10 years for the worlds largest army to find a man suffering from kidney disease in a country where two strings tied to a stump is considered technology. When the US found Khalid Mohammed they couldn't help themselves but show boat him around, saying look we found him. Now they find the most wanted man in the world and they just kill him and dump him in the ocean? Whats changed?

Jeremy.

Try upgrading to number 8 galv, lasts longer...

I do agree, shes a big hype for nothing..

But nothing to get wound up about.

Who actually uses number 8? We hardly ever have a use for it, well for fencing anyway. Its just to thick. (thats what she said ;))
