right now if there was an attack at say a NFL Football game. CNN would show the middle east dancing in the streets celabrating the deaths of americans. If the same bomb went off in a soccer game in the middle east. we would not dance in the street and burn flags. we would raise money and or go help.
Big difference for sure.
Sure I do not fully trust my goverment. But I love my country and you should yours.

This is what I meant. You can either entirely pull out and vaporize them or you can Operation Rolling Thunder the s*** out of them and cause tons of collateral damage and lose all support. This is how you win but it just can't happen.

they did kill him, theres no doubt about it. the only reason they shot him instead of arresting him was because the risk he would get away. he had to be killed right then.
in school we had a discussion...
he was thrown into the sea because no country wanted to bury him there, thus creating a taliban shrine.
he was thrown to sea within 24 hours and properly prepared for burial just like the islamic faith says it has to be done,

edit: i do understand your guys need to dance in the streets etc. Especially the people of Manhattan. Have been to ground zero myself and know people over there and how they were affected by 9/11. However from the outside looking in when you see people in a supposedly civilised first world nation out celebrating slaughter/murder/whatever you wanna call it, it seems a bit sick. Bad taste...but its easy for us to say that. We dont see any terrorism down here.

Gas is sold on an open market. Anyone can buy and sell, just like the stock market. Theres absolutely no reason for prices this high, other than people being retarded. There was an interesting article that I read on AOL news, but I cant seem to dig it up.
yeh the whole oil industry is dodgy. If it makes you feel any better i just did the sums and we are paying $6.72 USD per US gallon for regular low octane gasoline. Its hovering around $2.20 NZD per litre at the moment

I am convinced that he was indeed dead for a while before but it was released for other reasons, on May 1. in my opinion, while he will probably become a martyr for "them", the goverment makes a big deal out of this stuff because they know even though it didn't do much against the terrorists, it improves the moral of the armed forces and such on a grand scale, which can be invalueable.

The reason they dumped his body in the ocean was so that no one would build a shrine for him. They gave him a proper muslim burial and they cleaned the body and wrapped him in muslim clothing. They did this so that they would show respect for the muslim culture and not start a war. And also take him alive? Are you serious? If people from Alkida found out about his capture they would open fire and bomb ect. until there leader was returned to them and he would be back on the streets. Also the muslim civilions would not have to die if it wasnt for Osama. We would have no problem with the muslims in the first place (not that we do now but you know what i mean). I want to share some of my personnel info. I am white, i have some muslim friends, i love obama, i am a democrat, and i am happy Osama was killed in the exact way he was (my muslim friends do too). Yep, and this goes well beyond years of trash. The compound was purpose-built, and pretty blatantly so. If Osama Been Hidin' had been cooling his heels there for years (instead of running), don't you all suppose he was pretty comfortable with the fact that he was well-protected by people powerful enough (locally) to do so? If ANY of this cocammamie story is true, it makes Pakistan look very, VERY bad.
The story doesn't smell right. I'm not sure how much of it is BS, but you can bet that at least some of it is.

My mom's friend has a son in the special forces of the marines and she talked to him recently. She asked her son if he was happy to hear about his death and he said "He was already dead when they raided his compound."
