I was hoping they blew his head clean off 50 cal style. He was nothing but a Hittler to me.

But after 3,000 American dead on 9/11, countless more in the Middle East, up to half a million Muslims dead in Iraq and Afghanistan and 10 years trying to find Bin Laden, pray let us have no more "resounding triumphs". Revenge attacks? Perhaps they will come, by the little groupuscules in the West, who have no direct contact with al-Qa'ida. Be sure, someone is already dreaming up a "Brigade of the Martyr Osama bin Laden". Maybe in Afghanistan, among the Taliban.'

So the US Military killed half a million Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan since the 9-11 attacks?
Hmmm I would never thought it would be that high. I have no facts but I think this writter is full BS. Blerting out statements like this just hoping some will be thinking. Yea, Yea half million dead.
There may be half million dead. But not from the USA Miltary. So whats this guy really talking about? Killing each other and blaming the US? His story has no merrit when he states inflated numbers. Also notice how he says "up to half a million Muslims dead in Iraq and Afghanistan? Talk about biased writting. People do drink this kind of cooliad though. And some people chug it.
What sums it up for me? Attack the US and we will hunt you down and blow your head off. If you are a wanted terrorist, we got a bullet or a Tomahawk with your name on it. It's the only way to deal with these people. They have been at war non stop for how long now?

And you think they will stop now? Now that the "US has hunted down and blown Osama head off" the US has no reason to be there in the middle east, they will slowly start to remove there troops and say 'that we now feel we can hand the power back to the relevant authorities' and leave. Then Afghanistan will go back to fighting each other and supply the world with poppies, as they have done for centuries of years before.

So you are saying let the Taliban bomb your home country. Let them run home to safe base to be forever free?
If your country was attacked like 9-11 what would they do? Ask the USA for help would be my first guess....

I agree that they should be punished, I just don't agree how America has gone about it. My point is that, sure I don't care if you want to wipe the Taliban off the face of this planet, its just you guys don't seem to care about impact it will have on the country. The amount of innocent citizens killed (Yes, I realise all the Americans were innocent, that beside the point.), you cant be so ignorant to believe that they all thought the 911 bombing was a good thing? The repercussions of this war will out live our life time.
Ask for the Americans help? If it was me, no I personally wouldn't. After how they conducted themselves in that war. You must be forgetting that the USA had help, think about it, you had help from us, Australia and England. Wheres our thanks? I am yet to see anything.

the talibans didn't bomb your country man. They didn't do anything to you until you invaded Afgan. Altho they did/do have ties with Al-Qaeda.
Robert Fisk is probably one of the most qualifed guys around when it comes to reporting on happenings in that part of the world. Hes seen the whole situation develop with his own eyes.

Of COURSE the middle east has been in conflict for centuries, and of course it's not going to stop. But there is a distinct difference between say, Isreal and Palestine or Iran and Iraq battling it out, and these insane "radical" Islamists blowing up thousands of innocent civilians, civilians that have absolutely nothing to do with thier own sun-baked conflicts.
I'm getting a wee bit tired of "The US should have handled (9/11, Osama/terrorism/whatever) differently". What would you have the US do? Take them out for coffee and dougnuts and kindly explain to little Johnny Bin Laden that it's not nice what he did, and he might have to be put on a "time out" if he does it again? Please.

A cup 'o tea does not solve everything. Especially when the established government has limited to no control over the country. And, as said before, when were you last attacked by them? God forbid they come bomb your county as I wouldn't wish that on anyone, but if they did, who would be there not only to help recover and clean up the mess with disaster aid but to have your back against the terrorists? It sure as he// wouldn't be most of the world, but it would be the US.
Yes, we may try to get into things a bit too much sometimes, but there's always one country to come help. Whether it's a tsunami, earthquake, terrorist attack, or flood, we're there to help out and restore order again. When you need us, I bet we'll be there. You're da** close to tectonic plates, it's bound to happen some day.

Personally, I say we put a really tall wall around the entire middle east, and let them duke it out. Not doing much good for us anyways, why not let them destroy themselves?
And for any of you that say I'm just being unfair to the innocents, let me say this. If there was a time in history when there was not a major conflict in the Middle East, it has yet to come my attention. Its been one continuous conflict for centuries. I highly doubt that the rising generation would be any different.
