Crescent wrench, tire plug kit, hose clamps.
And pliers
Maybe zip ties.
In my buggy I carry all those along with rope.... So you can get towed back.
Hmmmmm......I heard you rednecks from WV carry a rope for a different reason.........
You forgot the most important thing......a pint of whiskey! !!!!
May not get you out of the woods....but it might not make you worry so much about getting out..........
Seriously. ...the absolute most important thing besides a cell phone. ...is a good first aid kit......the kart can be replaced. ..or wait to be repaired. ...you may not have that luxury...
while I fully agree...
you can improvise most of a good FAK with a good toolkit (and your clothes),
but that doesn't work as well the other way around
alcohol is a good thing to have...
or paracord ... or duct tape
'sid
PS now who makes us a paracord woven toolbag how to?
itsid. just where on Doug would you apply the duct tape?
Not going cross country or anything, and I want to keep the kit small, but it makes sense to have spares and tools for the easy fixes. Some good suggestions so far. Along with the tire plug kit, maybe one of the small hand operated tire pumps carried by bicyclists? I dislike Slime, because sooner or later it'll have to be cleaned off the rim. Since I have an electrical system, I suppose I could carry one of the mini 12V pumps, but that may be a bit too elitist. Maybe a spare tubeless valve stem and a core tool. A small first aid kit and some super glue for when a passing twig gouges us. Cell phone has a flashlight (torch) ap. Tiny oiler for the clutch bushing.
Keep 'em coming.

I carry a gun.
