Hey guys I have been looking around for some info on govener removial on the HF or similer clone 11hp or 16hp.
There is lots on the 6's but I was just wondering if it would be the same prosess. Is it worth doing/learning. Has anyone ever removed the gov from one of these larger engins?

look out for commen gov removal problems like push rods snapping and stuff, either keep the revs low, get performance parts, dont remove gov (bad idea! lol) or just floor it till it.......well you get the idea, lol

If you plan on turning a lot of rpm go ahead and get a billet rod.

It is worth it in the long run.

Also you may want to get some higher pressure valve springs, but not to high.

The stock ones are a little weak in my opinoin, But you may be able to use them.

As far as removing the governer, it is the same process.

I dont see where you would have any problems
