yea she said last night she wanted a sissy bar. I just haven't given it any thought yet. Im having a little trouble with the brake cable being a lil short with the apes. Do you know anybody that sells custom length or just longer brake cables that will work on this thing?

I don't know... maybe you could add a a rod from the drum lever and attach the stock cable to the rod.

where I drew the red line maybe add a rod/extension move brackets that hold cable up and attach cable to rod maybe...

photo.jpgThought I would update my ongoing timeline of the wifes bike. She fired up and runs good. Now she wants leds on it. Im going with http://www.ledunderbody.com/Advanced-Million-Color-Motorcycle-LED-Lighting-Kit.aspx They seem to be a good company I put some footwell lights in my Freightliner from them. and real easy if your want to trick out your main ride. Has anybody ran a distro block for power? Im trying to get it to turn on engine start not all the time. After that I need to put in some handlebar speaker and a ipod mount for her. Gaudy is the key here she said. LOL Any power ideas?

Could put one of those high backrests on it like you see on the old street bikes.
Something else that would be cool is a working brake light, and signal lights.

She did mention the sissy bar back rest. That might be in the future. I'm hoping to have a finished product when I get home next weekend. Then I can start the side car for my bike.

Its a lil rough to make a left turn. I need to counter weight it for when there is nobody in the sidecar.

Never heard of boiling in lemon juice, have to try that, thanks! By the way, dumb question coming. Are these Baja warriors made in China? Probably ha? My tire says "Dunlop-made in China" never knew they had a plant there? Always thought they were all made here down the road from me in down town Buffalo NY !

Im pretty sure they are made in mexico. For what they are, they are pretty decent. Im building a rear swing arm for mine. The bumps get hard after a while
