Just ride it on dirt roads. the oil will help keep the dust down. and check and add oil regularly.
Sorry I just cant figure it out either. Post a pic of the whole bike.
Here are the 2 mini bikes in question. Same prob with both. Only dif with engines is my wifes bike ( the one with the apes) has a elec start engine. but basically the same engine.

If your engine mounting plate is not flat or is deformed a little it could be pulling on the case and distorting it causing the leak. Please don't ask me how I know this.

Sit the engine on the plate and make sure it sits flat. If it doesn't, shim it with washers so that tightening the bolts doesn't put stress on the case. Do all the bolts fit through the mounting plate holes easily without tilting the motor to get them started? If not, wallow out the holes a little. You don't want anything to stress the case.

both engines are leaking in the same spot ?
When Denny says flat, he doesn't mean level. You have to be sure that you aren't stressing the case when you tighten the bolts down. If it rocks on the mounting plate, that's a big clue as to what is wrong. You must absolutely not stress, twist or flex the case when tightening it down. I really suspect that is what is happening.
Do all bolts drop in easily without having to force one through or screw it through the hole? Do the bottoms of all four mounts sit securely and flatly on the mounting plate or does it kinda rock back and forth when sitting there before tightening anything down?

Dang i'm late i was going to say that the mounting plate was not flat and is separating the crank case and the cover apart enough to leak past the gasket.Either that one or the bottom of the motor its self is not even and is doing the same thing
You are 17 days late![]()
