Gonna start a build thread. Will probably take off slow. I'm in the process of finishing my mega moto 212 in time for Redbeards meetup in May.
The build will be copied after a kart my brother built. Starting with a yerd dog spiderbox. I was able to pick one up cheap the other day. Only thing that I've done is remove the padding off the rollcage, removed the broken lights and removed the seatbelts.
Plan will be to reuse the swingarm, use a stage 2ish duromax 440 that I have on the shelf. All new front suspension.
Motor has a billet rod, champion rockers, nr racing torque cam, and mikuni 32mm flatslide. Motor ran great.

Are you hand shaping? Thats a skill right there. Im usually filling gaps.

Ive got the cheap harbor freight notcher. One day it would be nice to upgrade tho

Seems like the range for a tube notcher is anywhere from like $60 to several grand. The lower ones seem to all be the same design, just different paint.
