Officially loudest "kart" on the forum

Just a quick update. Kart is pretty much finished, taken apart and painted. Here's what it looked like before I disassembled it.

I can pretty much guarantee that no matter how loud your kart is, this one is louder

So, how big is that engine? my kart is getting a 400cc twin, yours looks like it could be in that range, maybe i can tie you for loudness?

No chance mate, 500CC POWAH! First starting it under a tin carport my ears were ringing for the next hour. I don't think there's a microphone on earth that will record this noise. The pipes are stainless and were free from the local pool shop. Someone was upgrading to plastic :rolleyes3:

The tyres aren't my favourite either, but they were $100 for 4 and they have 90% tread. When EDGE wants $850 for the set of 4 wheels and tyres... ebay to the rescue!

I would put some stock pipes back on...unless you have it rejetted for the straight pipes. You could be losing some HP...

I would put some stock pipes back on...unless you have it rejetted for the straight pipes. You could be losing some HP...

Just a matter of switching or boring jets. Also the loss won't be that large.

I'll definitely post a video when it comes to the first run. I'm re-assembling it today, then there's a short list of things to do to get it finished.

It's painted gloss black. Originally went with flat black but the paint had set in the tin so it was pretty crap. The company sent me another free tin so I asked for gloss. It looks mad now.

Im sure tylers block zilla hums at 9,000 rpm and its only a single cylinder and yeah idk why Da.mn is in there but what ever were family orentated here there are a few youngins here.
