Lots of work done, but still alot more to do for the winter, then cut down my trees jan/feb and then start my foundation come spring.

Looks like a lot of work. My dad moved off in the middle of nowhere with an artisian spring, at the bottom of a steep hollow at the end of a dead end dirt road. I love it there, it's so nice and quiet.

Good lord, talk about a ton of pics. So your just using generators for power? Any plans for like solar or wind?

Currently have 255 watts solar with 4-424 AH 6 volt deep cycle, propane fridge stove lights and so much to do before winter it isn't funny.

I've thought about getting a small 800sqft cabin at some point to be completely self-sufficient with solar/wind, wood stove/fire place and a large garden. That would probably be my retirement in 50 years from now...if stupid stuff doesn't change by then.

Took MH out for first drive to fill the tank, HOLY Sugar Honey Ice Tea! 92.223 litres at half tank so I guess it has a 50 Gal or 200 Litre tank in it as a main tank. Brakes fine, stutters a bit at low speed but if you bury the peddle it will past everything but a gas station. Its going up in about a weeks time once I get everything packed ad strapped down. What a tipsy SOB gonna be white knuckle all the way.

I lived in the woods for about a year not even tents just used sleeping bags a genni and a few soler panels I loved it hunted and fished alittle did buy a lot of food tho but i liked it it Dosent bring you close to nature you become part of it

Not too many people could even live without internet for a while, let a lone have the skills for hunting or fishing. But if you force them into it, they'll learn real fast.

MH goes up Friday night, and last load probably Monday.

Motorhome is up, few issues with fuel pump as it hasn't been driven in awhile. Last load up tomorrow and then the fun of getting ready for winter begins. Not sure how often I'll be able to get to town but will try to post some more pics in the next couple weeks.

Finally moved, just trying to find a spot for all my junk. Road and pond/dam are started but I'm fighting the rain. No pics yet but will post some the next time i'm in town and have internet access.
