Im not a theif but im stealing your idea on my next build lol. I want to do something very similar. But how cool would it be to put an 18 horse or so in the front? Give it a radio flyer T bucket look.

That would be awesome ! I wish there was some kind of mini car like axle so I can make a hot rod cart with a 4 link :D

To he// with convention! What you've got going on is resourceful! How's the steering ratio work out with that?

Its working out very well actually . Cant wit to fab up the right side spindle and all the rods so I can put up another video of how it all works .

Yes yes I know its been a while but here is a decent update .

Exhaust is just about wrapped up , aside from a few loose ends and polishing .

All brackets are welded up in the front . All I need to do now is clean up some welds .

Did more work today . Mostly on the rear end .

Ran into a problem with the brake rotor. I originally welded in the cross bar to both arms thinking I was using a smaller diameter rotor . When I went with the bigger one , it ended up hitting the bar . Had to notch out an area but it all worked out nicely .

Now that the rear end is fitted in , I can position in the shocks where they need to be . It is a very tight fit but its looking like everything will clear.

Made a bracket for the seat latch too.

Its getting there slowly but surely .

Alright after further thinking , I decided to go with shorter shocks mounted in a different location as before. With this the rake will not be as extreme and the height a bit easier to adjust.

So its been a long time since I updated my status on this but the project is still going strong. Past couple days I got out there and made tie rods , remade the solid front axle , and tinkered with a whole bunch of other ideas .

So its been a while since I posted but I made some major progress since the last time I did. Ill leave it up to the pics to explain.

Rear wheels . Every wagon needs some fat slicks.

Front wheels. I love the front tires I was lucky enough to discover . The tread looks like full size tires I have seen on hotrods .

Gas tank. Made from a 5in diameter chrome exhaust pipe extension made for a kenworth . Caps for the sides will be welded in and I have a few other thoughts I will keep to myself for now about this part of the project. Second pic is a rough idea of where it will sit.

Panhard bar installed . Happy to say there is no binding or side to side movement in this front suspension . Almost hard to believe looking at it from above .

Shifter linkage and new shifter arm done. This was a pain to do because of the major notch I had to take out of the frame due to the new arm . The old arm used on the mock up motor just didnt fit right with the new permanent motor .

Full roller with brakes is almost done .
