I actually liked that video a lot. I always get people asking me on youtube/kartfab about this, that and the wood go kart question. I think between colin furze and Eric Lindberg, I can be grateful that somebody else did a no weld and a wooden go kart build so people who, (unbeknownst to themselves) want to seriously injure themselves or die now can do it with the guidance of somebody else. I choose not to answer those questions with any sort of a yes (even though its possible).
Think of it from an adults perspective, what if you (someone a small kid looks up to) gives this kid instructions that lead to his death? It would be a horrible thing to live with, and a huge liability. Tosh.O videos and jackass videos all say we will not accept any videos etc submitted because there are always people that are less intelligent than you thinking they can cut a few more corners than you did, or show off like they do on jackass, and they end up injured or dead. Just sad to see it.
Doesnt seem like what I say even matters to them. They just seem like they want to do it anyway for the least amount of money possible. Its like the darwin awards are beckoning, and they have this funny feeling which is keeping them from dying, and just need some reassurance that the stupid thing they are about to do is ok to do..... There are realistic limits to quality based on price, despite what harbor freight, colin furze, and eric lindberg haven shown us.
