No weld go kart

He usually gets these build series finished within a couple of weeks. There is a lot of editing to do before uploading them. I'll link the other parts when they are released.

The main long term issue I forsee is clamp crush on the tubing... or, alternatively, excess weight due to the use of thick wall material to avoid clamp crush...

Yah okay. always weld the kart. But, this is a good video on how to attempt a build a decent Kart without welding. Everyone is always asking how to do it without a welder. now we can point to this video. or this thread.

I would prefer not to "suggest" this thread / youtube video. I find that when someone is trying to do something w/o a welder, they probably haven't really thought out the project. Honestly, the extra cost in hardware and heavier gauge metal probably eats in to your budget OR you could just go buy a welder.

I know, i picked up a welder and a grinder before i purchased anything else

But...if you have the thicker metal and nuts and bolts laying around and you dont need to purchase a lot of parts....maybe......I'll see if colinfurze has a price total on parts yet.

Did you watch the video? It looks strong for a no weld kart. he put a 4 speed on it!!! looks quick. Makes me want to pick up a pit bike engine for my next build

compare my build to his and maybe his could take a harder hit and stay together then mine
