Hi Everyone
Ive been reading up on here and a few other sites.
Been trying to decide if I should build an electric or gas powered Radio Flyer Kart.
Im kind of leaning towards an electric because I will mostly be using this at College Football tailgate parties and car shows.
(Was at Shades of the Past this past weekend which got my itch going)
Ive found a good design for a gas powered Radio flyer that I will base mine off of. I dont think it will be too bad to convert it.
I started looking into the motor and it seems like alot of people recommend the 36V 1000watt kit from monster scooter.
I went to go check it out and notice it is not instock and it wont ship till the end of Nov.
I was wondering if I step down to a 36V 750 watt kit, will I notice much of a difference ?
Im not wanting to build anything that is crazy FAST... More something that would be fun and I could run the whole day on a full charge.
I was looking at these two
36 Volt 750 Watt Electric Motor with 11 Tooth #25 Chain Sprocket (Currie Technologies)
http://www.monsterscooterparts.com/36v-750w-motor-11tooth-currie.html
36 Volt 750 Watt Electric Motor with #25 Chain Sprocket (MY1020)
http://www.monsterscooterparts.com/36v70mowichs.html
What are the differences between these too ??
Im thinking right now to run a 10 tooth sprocket on the motor and a 74 tooth sprocket on the rear and a #35 chain ?
If anyone could help me out that would be great!
Thanks
Allen
