hey yall!

im in Chesapeake Va.

I love to tinker with stuff weather it be a RC related or ATV related but here lately ive been working a Powerwheels Go-kart conversion. so far i have just mocked up the body and placed it on the frame. i have also made an adapter to run Racing Kart wheels on an old kart frame. surprisingly the wheel base is the same. what kinda kart it is im not sure but i believe it was orignally made to hold a 3hp engine cause the predator does not fit. so the plan is to make it a Front engine Rear Wheel Drive kart. just trying to figure out the steering and engine mounting.

Two projects going at once:

PowerWheels/GoKart Conversion
powerwheels/RC conversion

i posted up my ATV Predator project in the More Builds section.

look forward to any advice once i get some pictures up and free up some money.

I was refering to that..

if an industrial engine doesn't fit (clone, gx200 or flathead)
chances are it's been a two stroke kart.

if you say old, two stroke and same wheelbase as modern race karts...

chances are it's (been) a vintage racekart

And destroying an old Rupp ABone for example means burning a thousand dollars (literally 1k of value)

Hey hold my beer, my kind of dude. Just got on here. Built a mini t bucket for the grandson. Posted pics on my site. It's a learning process. Biggest problem is my pics from the iPad come upside down. Hate spell check. I. Corvetterick. Restored 3 vetts in my time he t bucket was my first looked at all sorts of steering. Old popular mechanic book from the 60's was a helper.....cheers
