wel lads
just picked this kart up last night
it is a biz kart
with 2 genuine Honda gx160's on it
brakes need new pads but still work good

both engines start 1st pull
and the only thing is when I start dem up it slowly moves off itself ??
is that just because of the idle being too high ???

here's some pics more 2 come

Maybe slightly high idle, but remember., you got 2 motors so the resistance to roll at idle got cut in half....

1 of the engines is idling abit higher dan d other because I started 1 on its own
then turned that off and started the other which was idling higher
so im guessing lower the idle speed

im not sure which screw is the idle
theres 1 that's black and plastic
maybe a picture will help me ?

This may be a stupid question-don't have a lot of kart knowledge, but the last kart you looked at was direct drive. What kind of clutch system does this one have?

NOW it really looks a stupid question but the OP posted that last post while I was working on mine. That's where I was heading though, could be bad clutches (or maybe dirty/rusty and need to run a bit).

the exact same?
One carb manifold for both with both carbs on it. (bwww.. you don't want to do that ;))
A tachometer to read the EXACT rpm of one engine and "copy" that to the other

A tach is not necessary. As long as both carbs actuate at close to the same time you'll be fine.
I synchronized mine visually and runs like a Swiss watch.
Just check at fully closed...1/2 open...and then full open.

I sync the throttle bodies on my bike with vacuum gauges...set them right with no guess work...you can get a set of gauges from ebay for around $50...they will also work on 2 separate carbs on different motors...
