I like the combination sprocket and brake. That's one fine-looking machine, BTW!

Got new tires on it today. Going to put on a tourqe coverter set up on it and wire a new kill switch.

Nice score. I'm envious as these old skool types are in short supply it seems.

I'm definitely a Briggs fan so I can only offer that maybe it needs a header with a chrome tip or similar and only because it's a bike. Makes it look right. :sifone:

Clone is already sporting the much better, less-restrictive OEM straight muffler. You gonna run it on methanol? ;)

Front fork looks a little bent.

No just 94 octane. I thought it was bent as well but when I Googled pics of other bikes of the same model tgey all looked the same as this so not sure.

Getting it all stripped done. Welded up a couple cracks and filled in all the holes I don't need.

Don't know. Got it like that. Seemed to ride ok like that. Will try and straighten it out when I finish stripping it down.

With chains that long, I've seen some that have a tensioner wheel located on the frame halfway between the sprocket and the clutch...

Getting the torque converter mocked up. I decided to use a pmr motor mount plate to lift the engine up.
