We bought this in 2007. Kenbar sc7 single seat go kart, originally had a briggs 5hp flathead engine and series 30tav. it had dual disc brakes and a rear differential. 22x8" balloon tires on back and 15x6" knobby tires on front. we have owned this for 15yrs now. bought it for my daughter when she was 5 and left is stock at the time, now she is 20. it has gone through several transformations over the years. 1.0 upgrades were a briggs 10hp flathead and 26mm mikuni and pipe with no govenor, and a 40 series torque converter. we also put 22x10 four wheeler tires and wheels on back, and 21x10 four wheeler tires and wheels in the front. still no suspension but with tires aired down to 15-20 psi it rode decent for the speed it had. This was when she/daughter was around 8yrs old/2010. ok update to 2016 and we built and installed a duromax 420cc 16hp engine, removed the govenor, installed a 34mm mikuni, and header. left the 40 series on it. now update to 2022, and we installed a duromax 440cc engine currently and added, 34mm mikuni, header, arc billet rod, gps 308 cam, 50lb valve springs, ported and polished the head, flycut .030 off the head for more compression, and add a better charging system for led's and winch. At this point we are leaving the frame alone on this one as we have a second duplicate frame we will add suspension to. other frame is in bad shape and wont hurt my feelings to cut on it. This is in the shop at the moment and not back together yet but will be soon. you can also see this build on my youtube channel Fab n okie on youtube. Thank you.

post script; in the pic it has the 10hp briggs still

Very cool, but definitely needs to be lengthened .....unless your a little person ( as in under 4ft 6). That short and A..it will be a very uncomfortable wheely machine......B... it just will not be comfortable to ride.

we measured my daughter in it and we are going to have to lengthen it, and if im cutting it up that much then we will go ahead and add suspension
