Well we got the clutch but now my dad say's we will have to get a jackshaft:mad2: .Do you think a jackshaft is needed he said it is to get motor in the center of frame. If it is not in center will it ride ok i would like to ride it but the sprocket did not come yet.
This will add another week waiting for that jackshaft part.:toetap05: plus all the other work.:furious2:

Here is a picture showing the brake and foot pegs
we twisted them like the kickstand.:D My dad is a hobby blacksmith he let me pick out the type of twist . I think this was the coolest looking twist and yes he let me twist it . .:wai:
He said he would let me try and weld something when we start to work on it again.:drool5::drool5::drool5:

Hi
jorge0136
You can but it's easy'r to hold the one end in a solid mounted vise then twist from the other end.My dad has a monkey wrench with an extra handle welded on it so its easy to turn and keep straight. If you use a forge you have to use a water cup to localize the heat. It's easy'r to use the torch heat an area about 1 inch long all the way thru to red then twist it right or left a little over 90 deg then heat red at end of that twist. Then twist it in the opposite direction about 90 deg lining up the original flat
then just repeat until you have the number of twist you like.

The first ride in the yard it handles ok on grass gets a little rough on the gravel. You just have to keep on the gas.:D Now we will
have to tear it down and prep it for paint don't know when that will happen later. :drool5:
