I usually find 2 or 3 ounces of oil in my catch can after a night of hard racing.
Mines the one on the upper-left here:http://www.out2win.com/catalog/catchcan.html

There are three ports for for hoses to enter! One is for the Valve cover hose obviously what are the other two for?

I havent bought one yet but EZ bore has one like yours and I figured for less than 20 bucks not a bad deal. this one only has 3 ports sorry for the confusion. Do i put an airfilter like the one I have on my picture on one of the ports and the other just as a drain?

Yep, just clamp your same breather filter onto its top port.
Then the breather hose from your valve cover goes to the upper-side port.
And screw the pet cock or drain plug into the bottom port.

My wife is going to EZ Bore to pick up the engine tomorrow and she is going to pick up a catch can for me as well. It looks like I will be piecing the kart back together 2morrow night. Test drive either Thursday or Friday.

Got my catch can and It is just like yours ANDERKART. Anyways will it still function ok if the Hose from the Valve cover is running in an upward position? Will the Oil still end up in the catch can? The Catch can will be mounted below the vavle cover just behind the seat. So It is "lower" than the valve cover. But the hose must run upwards before it hits the catch can!

Looks like it would be pretty simple to fab one up. As far as "would it still work" in an uphill orientation, that might be better, yes? As I understand it, the point of the catch can is to keep from drooling oil all over the place. It's still out of the engine, where it should be, and it still needs to be poured back in. IMO, anything that might help keep it in the engine in the first place is a bonus...

Yeah lots of guys at my track just use an old beer can with a filter rigged on. (A PBR can would totally fit the motif on the op's kart...)

I've seen some guys mount catch cans above the engine and inputting the bottom of the can so the oil could drain back. They seemed to work fine like that. Probably just want a fairly short hose length to help insure it'd never restrict breathing when the line was full of oil trying to work its way back.

Most racers only install puke tanks because their tracks require them.

While we are on the subject, how much oil should I put in now that I am getting ready to run it? I have seen several ppl talk about how much to put in with motor 15degree motor mounts but this one does not have an angle! its a 6.5 hp

If it's sitting level, fill it with the "stock" amount, as shown on the dipstick.

Ander- If it's canned and returned as you described above, you still would need to vent the can, yes?

Its vented! I used the old breather that I had originally placed on the valve cover hose!
