they havent been changed i got mine recently and it still fits, just tsake off the stock airbox, and put the adaptor in front of the carb and push the air filter over the adaptor and hose clamp it, and take the air hose that led to the ohv box stick back in the hole and put a breather filter on the enf of it and then you can cable tie it to the frame,

Way ahead of you there. Might want to look at the pictures. Just sayin.

Anyways I got the header painted and ordered my throttle hook up just now. Going to wire up the kill switch tomorrow. If I have time I will set the brake. Then she will be ready to run. I have been working on it since november. Pretty excited.

the throttle hook up on clones can be a *****, so what i reccomend is get an l bracket to attach to the part of your regular govner linkage in which the arm sits on, then get a screw and put the throttle end into it, once youve done that, drill a small hole and cut up into it so you can slip the wire inbetween it, so it stays put and will pull it back, and put a heavy spring from the arm and run it back to the bolt of the header and screw it on after youve set it there

Also, drilling a small hole in the stock exhaust cover will allow for springs to be anchored there and attached to the throttle arm.

i attached my return spring to the farthest hole back on the throttle arm and then pulled it over to the exhaust bolt, i dont attack it to the muffler mainly because i took the cover of because it was prettty restictive housing,

Did you remove the governor? No need for the 18lb springs or flywheel if you are governed. You'll need a billet rod too... probably more than the flywheel to be honest since the rod will want to snap if you are turning over 5500 all the time.

Did you put a bigger jet in the carb when you did the filter/exhaust?

flywheel explosion is basically bogus.

There is a #90 jet on the way. I don't think that I will need a billet rod. I think the flywheel and valve springs will suffice.

Yea.. sure

Like i said before.. the springs will gain you nothing if you are not ungoverned. They also allow the motor to rev past 6000rpm.. which will get you nothing besides a pile of parts you can try to sell here when your rod pukes out the front of your block.

the governor will be removed. i wouldnt get valve springs if it was kept in. the throttle i ordered requires the governor to be removed.

why else would anyone want an aluminum fly wheel and other internal parts no body can see?

Looking at that last pic. Could you get a 45 degree fitting for the valve cover to angle your VC Filter upward? Seems like it would make the look more complete. Or take a piece of steel tubing with an outer diameter same as the inner diameter of the rubber hose. Then you could just bend it upward. I think it would look sweet. Brake tubing might work.

Nice kart
