New doodle to me

So today I got my jackshaft and my motor mount plates welded up. And got my exhaust and intake adapter in the mail today. I'll post pictures later today

I started the engine and it sounds awesome but I might need a muffler for the neighbor hood

I have the bike moving no brakes though I need to make my rear chain tighter. And I have this weird grind sound when I try to get up on it a little bit trying to figure what the sound is

I now have a dilemma. I cannot put my brake where I had wanted to. My question is ca I put my brake on the outside of my jackshaft. I know it will work but can a jackshaft withstand stopping force

Only problem there is if you chain breaks or comes off the sprocket, then you have no brakes.

I don't know what to do then. At some point I'll have a front and rear brake but for now it will just be rear until I get some ore money. I guess I'll have to take it easy until then
